The WTI-200 filters are pressure filters designed and manufactured for the reduction of organic micropollutants in surface and groundwater, as well as for the reduction of undesirable odors, tastes, and colors. The WTI-200 filters are suitable for treating water intended for human consumption, technological use, or industrial processes. The characteristics of the activated carbon play a crucial role in defining important operational parameters such as the type of removable pollutants, removal capacity, pressure losses, and filter media lifespan. For this reason, the WTI-200 filters use a granular activated carbon filter bed that allows optimization of the following operational parameters:

• Removal of organic micropollutants.
• Reduction of oxidizing substances such as chlorine, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, and permanganate.
• Reduction of undesirable colors, tastes, and odors.

The WTI-200 activated carbon filters are available in STANDARD and LUNA models (both can be constructed with stainless steel or polypropylene pipes). The LUNA models have the advantage of a lower height for the same diameter, thanks to the integrated manhole with the pipe inlet. Each model and execution are available in manual (up to 1200 mm diameter) and automatic versions (with pneumatic valves).
